Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company has joined leading Indigenous arts organisations from across the country in contributing to major submissions for Australia’s next National Cultural Policy. Represented by Maitland Schnaars and Natalie Jenkins, Yirra Yaakin is part of a collective effort led by BlakDance, the Blak Futures Collective and the First Nations Performing Arts Companies Network, advocating for stronger support, leadership and investment in First Nations arts and culture nationwide.
